Felt well taken care of, no complaints whatsoever.

We got great value for our money and the cozy cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location in a beautiful village with easy access to great walks was perfect. The staff were very good too make us feel welcome and provided excellent service.

The only improvement I could suggest for breakfast would be more variety in the options.

It was our 4th time visiting this charming village and we will definitely be back. the cottage was very clean and well, equipped, with all the essentials provided for us. We especially appreciated the useful information about local amenities and tourist attractions that was available to browse. the location was perfect for accessing beautiful walks and drives in the Peak District, and the locals were as friendly as ever. We were also grateful for the warm welcome and easy, to, find main street location of the cottage. Cons: No yard/area for dogs to roam freely.

Mind-blowing village with hidden, historic cottages and a stunning Church - seriously, it's jaw-dropping. Ideal location for the pub and just a short walk to local shops and cafes. The weather forced us to indulge in pub-hopping, but hey, no complaints there! The cottage itself was super clean and well-equipped, complete with a lovely welcome tray and fresh milk. We also appreciated the info on local attractions. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was central to all the areas we wanted to explore. The village vibe was just amazing, especially with the beautiful church, handy store for supplies, and local bakery. a fantastic stay!
